Re-branding

We are getting ready for a re-branding. We haven't been doing business since we left Utah, but the name Weddings With Love no longer fits our business plan. I was going to rename the business Memorable Media and that is reflected on the latest portfolio pictures on this blog, as well as our Facebook page. However, I have since discovered that name isn't really available. So, we're going in a different direction. I already have the new name in mind, but it will be a surprise until we can get a few of our ducks in a row. Not sure how long the process will take, but hopefully it won't take longer than a week to at least get the new domain registered. I'll keep you posted. This blog will remain active during the transition. And I will be updating all of the portfolio that has already been posted on this blog to get you excited about the new name soon. So get excited.  The new name is coming.

Yesterday was my parents anniversary and as a gift to them I made this tribute from the old VHS footage (which had been converted to DVD a few years ago).

Welcome back

It's been quite a while since my last post, but I've still been working on several projects. The biggest has been the birth of my son, but since he's now closing in on the year old mark, it's probably time to start the blog back up. This will hopefully just be a temporary blog as I transition my business.
My original business, Weddings With Love, was primarily directed towards videography and weddings. I started work in Utah, but our family has since relocated to Pennsylvania, specifically in Centre County. Since my start in Utah, I have branched out to other events and photography. I am currently working on building my photography portfolio. I will post some of the photos on this blog until I can get a website dedicated to my new business up and running. Stay tuned for the new business name.

2007 Wedding Tribute

As I'm starting this business I've been thinking of ways to add to my portfolio. I attended my great Aunt Julie's traditional wedding back in June 2007 and I took some video of it with my very basic Kodak easy share camera. Recently I decided to edit together the film with photos I also took. This next video is highlights from that wedding tribute movie.

Hey all,
Just a little bit about me: I graduated BYU in 2009 where I studied a little of everything from Interior and Landscape Design to Floral Design and even a little bit of Hebrew. I'm a mom to a beautiful one year old baby girl, and she's such a doll! My husband is in the middle of his Masters program at BYU. I grew up in Alaska but have lived in Utah for the past six years. I absolutely loved my wedding videography which was done by Sonya DeMille of Nephi, Utah. And when I attended my cousin's wedding in 2010 and saw they didn't have a wedding videographer I took matters into my own hands. I didn't have a tripod or previous experience at the time, but I had a blast filming their wedding. And when I took it home to edit, I was totally in love with wedding videography and knew I should be doing this for more couples.
I want to help you make your special day something you'll never forget. I am also new to videography and so you as new clients get the advantage of much lower costs as I build my portfolio! I am based in Utah Valley so any traveling costs between Lehi and Payson are free. As I build my portfolio, prices for various wedding events and packages will be ever changing, so be sure to check back often for current prices.
